Learn to sail
No Experience
If you’ve never sailed before we recommend you start with Manly Sailing’s Start Crewing course. This course will teach you all the basics so you can actively participate in yacht races. Once you have completed the course you’ll receive a 20% discount on your 1st year’s membership at MYC.
Try racing
Beginner
If you’ve had some sailing experience before and keen to try your hand at racing, join us for a non-spinnaker Twilight race. Held every Friday evening throughout the summer, these races are perfect for sailors of all levels, experience the thrill of yacht racing in a relaxed, social environment
Regular crewing
Intermediate / Advanced
Become a member and gain access to our exclusive Members Only Group where skippers and crew are able to directly communicate their availability. There are multiple yachts looking for permanent crew for both non-spinnaker and spinnaker racing.

Sailpass
From 1 January 2022 Australian Sailing requires all participants in Club races be either a Club member or have a Sailpass.
If you aren’t a member of any AS affiliated club, MYC is making the first 3 Sailpasses free, after this we encourage you to become a member of our Club. After the 3rd race, the fee will become $20 per race. Any money paid for Sailpasses will be deducted from your membership fee once you join.
