Crew
Our skippers can almost always provide opportunities to pick up either casual or regular crew and we welcome all levels of experience. Contact mycrew@myc.org.au with your experience and we'll match you with a boat or enter your details online via the 'Crew Link' button located in the left menu. After 3 races, you will need to join the club (or YA affiliated club) so that you are covered by insurance.
Training
You never stop learning while sailing, so it's a good idea to start with a good basis. Manly Sailing is a school that is integrated with the Manly Yacht club. Students can receive both introductory and advanced training while taking part in club activities. Graduates will easily find regular places in the club races.
Juniors
The club has a long tradition of junior sailing and regular dinghy program is offered over the summer season with parental involvement encouraged.
Sailability
MYC hosts a branch of the sailability, whose aims is to facilitate sailing for people with disabilities. The club provides access to active sailing on the harbour for both crew and volunteer skippers of the fun 2 seater access dinghy. For more information see http://www.manlysailability.com.au.
